Students and instructors are now able to sign into their GFCMSU provided Microsoft Office account from within a widget on the Brightspace My Home page. Once signed in, you will have fast access to your student email, calendar, and OneDrive files.

  2. Look for the Office 365 widget. On a wide desktop computer screen, it will be on the right side next to Announcements. On narrower screens, such as mobile devices, you may have to scroll down to locate it.
  3. Click on the button that says Sign in to your Office365 account.
  4. A new browser tab or window should open asking for your email, phone, or Skype. In that box, enter your NetID@gfcmsu.edu and click next.
    • If you have signed into your GFCMSU Office account in this browser before, you may see your NetID@gfcmsu.edu listed. If so, all you need to do is click on it and it should not ask for your password.
    • If you have used this browser with a non-GFCMSU Office account before, you may see an account with your personal email address. If you see this, click on Add Account and follow steps 4 and 5.
  5. The next screen should be asking for your password. Enter the password that you set from the Password Reset Portal.
  6. Click Submit
    • You may be asked if you want to save the login. As long as you are on your own personal computer, it is safe to click Yes. However, if you are on a public computer, please click No.
